Beyerdynamic's DT 60 PRO in-ear headphones are designed for use with in-ear monitoring systems. Direct coupling of the headphones' transducers help provide users with deep bass, balanced mids, and defined highs. The DT 60 PRO also offers added sound isolation from ambient noise. This sound isolation, beyerdynamic says, is what allows users to listen at lower volume levels, protecting their hearing without affecting the sound quality. Three different pairs of silicone ear pads come with the headphones, for a more custom fit. Black, white, and beige color options allow inconspicuous use of the headsets. Canton's Chrono series of loudspeakers is based on its high-end Ergo line but is available at a lower price. Two floor-standing speakers (Chrono 509 DC, shown, and Chrono 507 DC), one compact two-way, a 2.5 way center channel, and a 150-watt subwoofer are included in the series. The full-range models include Canton's ADT-25 aluminum-manganese dome tweeter and a flared “transmission”-style front plate. The bass and midrange drivers have Canton-made aluminum cones; each floorstanding model includes Canton's Displacement Control technology. Prices: Chrono 509 DC, $2,000/pair (floorstanding); Chrono 507 DC, $1,600/pair (floorstanding).
